Instructor Zoie MunozZoie Munoz started her taekwondo training in 2009 under Grandmaster Myong Sok Namkung Mayes, U.S. Taekwondo Center, Spring Lake, North Carolina. She is currently a 3rd degree black belt and senior at Tiponi Academy (Home school). Zoie has won a bronze medal at the U.S.A. Taekwondo National Championships (Salt Lake City, Utah), gold medals at the Texas Taekwondo Varsity High School State Championships (2018, 2019 Austin, Texas), bronze medals U.S. National High School Taekwondo Championships (2018 Salt Lake City, Utah; 2019 Minneapolis, Minnesota). Zoie recently made the 2022 U.S. National Collegiate Team that will be traveling to Chengdu, China for the 2021 Summer World University Games! She will be representing the Female Team division alongside Master AJ and their teammate, Titania Thao.

Zoie’s hobbies include crocheting and training for future competitions in sport poomsae and freestyle poomsae. She earned a full scholarship to Texas Christian University where she's a double major in Movement Science and Psychology. Her career goal is to have a doctorate in physical therapy and have her own therapy center.
